New change, you must be logged in to view the dynmap. This is for security reasons. Otherwise i would have no control if someone started to abuse it.
Thanks ;D

You don't actually need to be logged in to view it if you know the URL.

True, but I am assuming random joins don't know that. Also when a username/IP is banned it can no longer access the dynmap through any means.

Dynmap is no more, the file size had gotten far too large. Our new host has a HDD limit.

Isn't there a way to host dynmap remotely? If drive space is an issue maybe we could setup a website on another host and remote mount the storage for the map tiles. I can help set it up if you'd like, I have servers with 3 different hosting companies.

Someone asked a similar question, here is the creator's response.
This is getting out of my expertise, if you know of a way to accomplish all of this let me know. On this host I only have FTP access, you think you could make something work?

Yeah, his response is pretty much what I figured. If the host doesn't want you having shell access your options are more limited. If you have cron access (scheduled tasks) you might be able to run a script to do it. If not the remote server could log in on a regular interval and download files that have changed but that'd be more complex.

I can do scheduled commands, but it is through multicraft and very limited (no custom scripts). Also if a remote sever got on and downloaded the files, wouldn't that defeat the purpose? (The files are still being stored on the MC server.)

Hah yeah, I thought about that after I replied. Sounds like there isn't a good way of doing it.
