Mobcatcher is in the server. You capture mobs by right clicking on them with a diamond, the diamond does not get destroyed in the process.
It costs $20 to capture peaceful mobs and $40 to capture hostile.

You can also left click a "Hostile mob" and a "peacful mob" with DM. The DM doesnt get distroyed, although you need to use 5 "Cooked pork" for peaceful mobs and 10 "cooked pork" for hostile mobs, enjoy

diamond is for the bukkit server, while dark matter is the tekkit server. the tekkit server also charges you cooked pork for the mobcatching.
