So, as the title suggests, I plan on making a village/town soon. I'm currently making houses, but the basic premise is that it's in a ravine. Well, a put dug by a quarry, but it was a ravine, until my OCD decided it wasn't large enough and the walls weren't straight enough . I was wondering two things: Firstly, who's interested? If there's noone, then I'll stop building the town Secondly, is there premise that smaller regions in the town would cost less? because otherwise in order to make a profit, someone's got to pay me more than it costs to region a whole town, just for their house... Many thanks, Vralka

As it stands now, regions always cost 1000 to claim no matter the size. So you would have to charge at least 1000 for someone to buy a house. Sell small houses for a little over 1k and sell larger plots or mansions for more (I've sold houses up to 3.5k but I know I could go higher for mansions).
Important factors:
A good looking town Well built houses A town with a flourishing market/mall Other perks/fun things(Tailwind gives free power, knights has a maze, Chillville has a public mob grinder etc.)
If you have those things you can't build the houses fast enough. Mail or msg me when you need a warp.

hmmm... I might run with your idea..... however, I think the locale would've been cooler if you HADN'T made it look so straight. Think like mole people or cave people sort of thing. idk. I think design wise, letting your OCD get the better of you might have been your downfall of the town.

To be fair, at the moment, the place is lokoing pretty good, even though I've straightened the walls, I plan on putting in new features at whatever rate I can make them, Power is a possibility, and I'm going to look at a mob grinder which doesn't eat up server processor I plan on expanding pretty much at the rate which I can extend the area.
